Our very dear @sarah.rob78 left the field for one last time as a member of CCC, and we gathered to pay her a heartfelt tribute with a guard of honor. It was a bittersweet moment as we bid farewell to someone who has been an integral part of our club.

This is to announce that Dr. Rafi Ur Rahman has stepped down from being CCC Captain. Rafi has had two successful tenures as CCC Captain, the first from December 2019 to August 2020, and then from September 2022 to May 2023. Rafi is a CCC legend: passionate, committed and talented, and we thank him for his great service to the CCC over the years. Rafi will continue to play for the CCC and remain on the CCC Committee.

Johnny Pringle is appointed CCC Captain with immediate effect. Johnny is a talented cricketer and was CCC Captain once before, back in 2014. Go Johnny Go! Vamos CCC!

We played a T20 game in the morning in which Jhonny Jaguars beat Rafi Rhinos by 13 runs. Impressive bowling performance by JJ’s Saleh Hayat who took five wickets while Captain Jhonny led from the front with a 59 balls 71. Khalil cameo of 30 runs also helped JJs to put a decent total on board. In response, RR lost early wickets before Doug the Head (@dougierio) showed some resistance but it was never enough.
I’m the afternoon, Rafi Rhinos won a close game against Jhonny’s team. Batting first, RR’s boys gave a 75 runs target, which proved too much for Jhonny’s boys. @marcelo_braganca_ scored some quick runs right at-the-top but Rafi’s bowlers took control of the game.
